I live in Amsterdam where you almost never can wear sandals. So I bought then for vacations. They're really comfortable and great sandals if they would stick together. My pair started coming apart after a month of usage. In the front as well as the back bought sandals delaminated. I'm a vans fan since the '80s. I remember that this was one of my big issues with vans sneakers in the'80s and '90s but haven't had this issue with then since. So it was a big let down to see this happening to the same brand in de same way as way back when. You would think that they would know how to put they're products together after so much improvement time, so they last at least a year or more.
We ordered the product online. We ordered my fiance a size 12. When we received it the left one had noticeable wear on it. We took it to a retail store where they thankfully had a size 12 to exchange it with but they were too tight! My fiance has a shoe obsession and gets a new pair every week. He ALWAYS is a 12. He doesn't buy sandals too often but these were tight under the strap and barely fit his foot. He ended up getting the size 13 and they fit like a normal size 12.

I have not bought these, but I tried them out in a store. I own an older pair of these and they are a million times better and more comfortable. The soft padding and the style of the older pair should DEFINITELY be brought back. I bought them atleast five years ago and they are still going pretty strong. I wear them for everything, I prefer them to sneakers for walking around the mall, etc. I should have bought more than one pair originally, I'm disappointed they no longer make them the same.
My first pair of Vans sandals. Love the look - just like a pair of vans shoes. Soft spongy footbed with the Vans rubber waffle shoe sole. Toe/foot straps were tight at first but after wearing a couple of hours they broke in and fit nice. Black spongy footbed conforms to your foot as you break them in. I wear 11.5 in vans shoes so went with the size 11 and they fit perfect. 12's would have been too big.
